How Turbinate Reduction & Turbinectomy Led to Empty Nose Syndrome and Mark Bidaux's Tragic End

EMPTY NOSE SYNDROME - Turbinate Reduction: New Era "Lobotomy"

16-07-2024 • 7 mins

This is the story of Mark Bidaux, a 42-year-old father of two from Finistère, who tragically suffered from Empty Nose Syndrome. Mark initially sought relief from severe nasal obstruction through sprays and eventually surgeries, including a minimal turbinectomy. Despite his concerns and consultations with multiple ENT specialists, he underwent the surgeries, which led to worsening symptoms and a diagnosis of Empty Nose Syndrome. Mark faced daily pain, breathing difficulties, and intense fatigue. On January 22, 2021, unable to bear the suffering, he took his own life. His story highlights the devastating impact of these procedures on many lives. Marks testimony:
