10-02-2024 • 1 hr 20 mins

Good Morning Nashville ☀️ New week, new episode from your favorite father-and-son podcast in Nashville 🔥 THE ONLY father-and-son podcast in all of Tennessee, super excited to bring you guys more content and allowing another black man to vent on our platform. Let’s get into it! 💫 This makes 143 episodes, 143 weeks straight, and we surely don’t plan on stopping this streak no time soon. We’re back “Out East” on today’s podcast as we bring our good friend and brother, the “Parkwood Baby” himself, Mr. Darius Horton on the show ✌🏽. He vents with us on today’s platform about a lot of different things, one of them being how being called “scatter brain” by family members and friends in a jokingly manner, alerted him to want to seek out a psychiatrist. Darius talks with us about how he did research on ADHD, and it opened his eyes to a different understanding behind why he would often times be at work, or in social climates and “10,000 things are going on at once” in his head . We all shared our thoughts behind the definition of the diagnosis, because let’s be honest, how many people are walking this earth with undiagnosed mental health illnesses ? He talks about how his wife has been a huge advocate behind helping him figure it out, and also talks about how they met and gives us a funny story behind their journey that led to holy matrimony . Definitely a good episode , take some time to hear a black man vent today ⭐️ “Have You Heard A Black Man Vent Today?”™️ #BMVT Keep up with our guy Darius Horton by following him on all his social media handles!
