Ellen B's dry eye journey started after a lower eyelid surgery to remove "bags" under her eyes. Before the surgery, her intuition told her that something bad was going to happen. It wasn't until after the surgery, when she knew that there was something very wrong. Her symptoms led her to multiple eye doctors who didn't have the answers and eventually to the Dry Eye Syndrome Support Community where she learned what ultimately was dry eye. She was in a dark place for a long time until she was able to get relief from some of the top gurus in the U.S. Ellen is a wonderful story teller who had me laughing and close to tears as my heart broke for when she was in "dry eye hell."
