Movement is Life is a podcast series from Intelligent Health focusing upon the importance and benefits of physical activity and active travel.
In our eighth episode, host Bethany is joined by Susie Drummond, Director of The Active Wellbeing Society, and Faeeza Vaid, Programme Manager at The Active Wellbeing Society.
Established in 2017 from Birmingham City Council’s Wellbeing Service, The Active Wellbeing Society is grounded within communities where inequalities are at their highest, and their aim is to work alongside them to tackle these inequalities and promote community development. In our discussion, we will ask how the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham is set to impact the whole area from inspiring active communities, to positive changes within unequal areas.
