We’re moving through the chaos of collective transition and whether you’re experiencing it on an individual level or not, we’re feeling more and more how interconnected we are and therefore will feel the affect of whatever the collective is moving through.
With that said, how do we move through our own personal challenges? How do we feel ok when we don’t feel ok?
So much of this journey back home to our Authentic Self is about presence. It’s about staying with ourselves. No longer abandoning, rejecting or neglecting but sitting with ourselves as we would want our best friend to. Just listening. Just holding space with love. Just being here so that we know that we’re not alone in it all.
I believe one of our greatest missions in life is to fully love and accept ourselves. ALL of ourselves—which means our entire humanity, which means all of our feelings, thoughts and experiences.
As I often speak to, it’s about releasing judgment by way of alchemising it through love. We’re learning that we are powerful alchemists but we cannot transmute what we do not accept and acknowledge as something that exists in this moment. Bypassing is a form of denial. Suppression or distraction are other forms of denial. We cannot change what we deny.
We’re being asked to be brave. We’re being invited to be kind. We’re being brought into such a hyper real present moment and asked to simply stay.
We will always, always move through the hard times. Change is the only constant. But being with the pain and discomfort, redefining even, what these mean to us, and discovering the things that nurture us in the process, all become invaluable tools to being ok with not being ok, if you get what I mean.
