Why We Lose Faith In Hard Times & How To Hold Onto The Thread Of Light To Get You Through
It’s easy to have faith when things are going well. It’s easy to love and accept ourselves when we’re feeling good about who we are. It’s easy to learn and grow when things are working out for us.
But what about when life throws you a curve ball and things get tough?
We have a tendency to lose faith when things get hard. We tend to throw out all of our tools and quickly drop our belief in ourselves, life, God, the Universe, whatever you choose to call it.
But in hard times, in times of darkness, is when we need faith the most. Is when we need to call upon self love and acceptance and compassion the most.
I think we lose faith when we don’t feel supported or held by life, God, Universe, because we’ve been conditioned to believe that “hard states” are bad or that somehow your life went wrong or that something or someone is punishing you. It’s easy to fall into the traps of victimhood.
So how we do we hold onto the sliver of light that will keep us from drowning in our own despair? How do we see through the lens that life is happening for us and not to us? How do we feel held even when we feel alone?
These are all questions I speak to in this week’s episode so tune in for more…
Loving you from afar,
Corinne
