Master the MRCPCH

27-03-2024 • 17 mins

This is the first of a two-part episode on cardiomyopathies. Join us as we talk to Prof Juan Kaski, consultant paediatric cardiologist and Director of the Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases Unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In this first episode, we're going to define what a cardiomyopathy is and discuss epidemiology and causes. In part two we'll go into more detail about the types of cardiomyopathy - look out for this next week.

Prof Kaski has previously recorded an episode for us specifically on Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy for our Practicing Paediatrics series on GOSHpods. You can find it here: https://open.spotify.com/episode/653b9wwxKVgGRSvebXidsT?si=pckd2XMzQH6r-1fSTJ3Atg or wherever you get your pods.
