In this episode, Jane Dacre chats to Dr Jess Morgan. Jess is a clinical fellow at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, leading a national project to improve the wellbeing and working lives of paediatricians. She spent 11 years as an NHS doctor, specialising in paediatrics and undertaking research in neonatology. Burnout and mental illness led her to leave medicine in 2019. More recently, Jess has embarked on a journey of returning to the NHS, with the aim of combining her leadership work alongside clinical paediatrics.
