A Volunteer grassroots coach is a difficult role, especially after taking over a team straight after lockdown. Today's guest is Chris Marshall, a parent coach from Bromborough & Eastham Football club.
Chris was part of a group of parent coaches who started coaching new under 7’s teams, having been thrown into the chaos that is grassroots football we talked about his role, why he wanted to be involved and his ambitions as a grassroots coach.
This episode is a really good listen for anyone who is thinking about helping out their children's teams or local clubs, we are always in need of more volunteers, this episode will open your eyes and give you an honest representation of being involved with grassroots football.
