Loose: The Bent, Bound, Bruised Believer by Apostle Oscar Guobadia
Luke 13:10-13 NKJV Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. Jesus said to the woman, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity,” a phrase translated in ancient Greek as ‘Gune apoluo soo astheneias.’ The word ‘gune’ means woman, while  ‘apoluo’ consists of ‘apo’ and ‘luo,’ where ‘apo’ means to separate, while ‘luo’ means to scatter, rip apart, sever, burn and shatter. Therefore it’s not just saying loose but it’s saying separate and scatter. Hence the woman wasn’t just being loosed, she was being loosed and scattering. Some people have been set free from certain issues but haven’t scattered them yet, which is why they have a reoccurrence of the same issues they’ve been set free from. On the other hand, they may be set free but their children continue to suffer from the same problems and get traumatised by the same demons. This is because although you have been set free, your children still endure suffering because you haven’t scattered those issues.  So this deliverance was not just for the woman but for her generation. Jesus wasn’t speaking to the woman alone he was speaking to the generations after the woman.
