In this episode of From the Racetrack from the British Sportscar Podcast we look at the action from both the races at Oulton Park for the 2023 Intelligent Money British GT Championship.
Both races were true British GT classics with action throughout the 36 car entry and weather playing its part and then some.
We hear from Jonny Adam on how it felt to win his 100th British GT race start and from Aston Martin factory driver Ross Gunn on racing the championship's most successful driver.
Later we hear from Race 2 winner Ian Loggie, both drivers of the GT4 race winning RACE LAB McLaren Artura, who experienced the lowest of lows in race 1 followed by the highest of highs in tricky conditions in the afternoon. We also talk to Raffaele Marciello on his first taste of racing in the British GT Championship and to Euan Hankey, the man behind RACE LAB, getting his opinion on the McLaren 570S GT4, Artura GT4, 720S GT3 and 720S GT3 EVO, all of which he has driven.
To wrap up we have 13 minutes of ambient audio at the end of the episode, recorded trackside at Clay Hill during Free Practice 1 on Saturday.
