Integrated risk management has always made sense but it is a dream that requires joined up data, systems, benchmarks, standards and frameworks. Firms, driven to operational efficiency, and regulators, keen to protect the consumers have aligned interests.  Yet we have been talking about the need for this shift since 2017.
