Carolyn tells us about her research looking at the effect of humans on primate populations including recognising the call of the gibbon and trying to understand the perspectives of more remote societies. She also shares the challenges of crowdfunding to be able to carry out her PhD, the challenges associated with working in remote areas, and the story behind her book “The little gibbon who lost his song”.
