In this episode of The Block Reward, host Scott Dedels engages in a riveting conversation with guest Peter Dunworth, founder of The Bitcoin Advisor. They dive deep into the multifaceted world of Bitcoin, discussing its evolution from a medium of exchange to a store of value and unit of account. From the intricate details of Bitcoin's triple entry ledger system to the potential impact of structured products leveraging US treasuries and Bitcoin ETFs, this episode explores the transformative power of Bitcoin on the financial landscape.

Based in Sydney, Peter Dunworth is a Director of Networth Advisors, a multi-family office, and the founder of The Bitcoin Adviser, a cutting-edge business designed to cater to the unique needs of high net worth individuals seeking secure and informed Bitcoin investments. Peter's journey as a financial advisor started as an optimistic and aspirational 20-year-old, initially aiming to become an investment banker. However, he changed his path after meeting a mentor who advised him to move into mortgage broking.

Peter began his career in finance straight out of university, working at BT Funds. He later set up a mortgage broking business and spent nearly a decade in the field. His father's advisor, who was chairman of one of Australia's largest financial institutions, advised him to move from debt to equity before the GFC. Peter then retrained to provide advice on equities and financial advice, leading him to the financial advice space.

In his current role at Networth Advisors, Peter manages a dozen high net worth families' portfolios, providing investment advice across various asset classes, including shares, property, bonds, and his all-time favourite - Bitcoin. His unique insights and deep-rooted knowledge in finance have made him a valuable asset in the world of bitcoin investments.
