In today's episode, we will focus on three executive coaching myths. Firstly, why would I need a coach? It's like admitting I'm not up to the job. Secondly, executive coaching is a bit quirky. Thirdly, anyone who can give advice can be a coach.

We are joined by our host Joan O'Connor and 10Eighty executive coaches Michaela Henshaw and Iain Blatherwick.

Michaela’s passion is helping individuals, teams and organisations discover and then achieve their true potential. Iain recently stepped down after 11 years as Managing Partner at Browne Jacobson solicitors, a period which saw unprecedented growth and expansion to become a business with a turnover of over £80m and 1000 people. After stepping down Iain qualified as an executive coach to help support clients and make use of the skills, insights and experience – both highs and lows – he gained as a leader.

Joan, Head of Leadership Practice, is a highly experienced executive coach, facilitator, team coach and consultant and has worked in global commercial environments since the mid-90s. She enables individuals to make a positive difference for themselves through one-to-one coaching, team effectiveness and team coaching work. In her leadership coaching, she helps people work out what being a leader means to them, and how to become the best possible leader.
