There are some definite hidden treasures in Italy.And Caldaro and San Michele-Appiano and their surroundings are 2 of them.Most Americans won't make it to this part of Italy.Tucked just a wee bit south of Bolzano, these towns in Südtirol are worthy of some time.Why?Well they ooze charm, are in a stunning location and there are a lot of vineyards surrounding them.
