Kinda forgot how much deep house I used to play, but I was trawling through the archives and this popped out of a dusty folder and fell into the speakers: Smooth deep house grooves, from autumn of 2010; a mix I did exclusively for my old podcast, RK2. Enjoy.

One of my favourite mix tapes from back-in-the-day was originally mixed by Mike Cosford as part of the Obsession: Progressive Excellence 6 pack. I've never had a decent copy of this, mine was a copy-of-a-copy-of-a-copy, that was slightly chewed, and then ripped to 128kbps MP3 sometime in the late 90s. So I bought the tracks I was missing on vinyl, sampled them, cleaned them up, practiced where Mike originally dropped them, and re-recorded it. Going old-school for a bit. Here's the first mix I recorded on CDs, back in 2006-ish? Old school progressive house.

Managed to keep a lid on this for about 30 minutes, and then it explodes. Couple of absolute bangers in the middle. The sound of my party season :D

I’ve been slowly trawling through my vinyl, cleaning stuff, and doing a bit of organising. Found a load of white labels and mash-ups that I’ve never used, so… time to record a vinyl mix!Expect a few more of these :D

Another dark-tinged melodic techno mix, leaning toward pea-time, cos there’s just so much good, dark music about atm. Turn those Xmas lights off abd lock in.

Nice mix of Deep Tech and House from the Summer of '09. Guest mixed for Adil&Doax’s Und3r Kontrol Podcast. Lots of layers and cheeky changes.
