In this episode Mervyn speaks to Emma Perry, Senior Lecturer in Social Work and PhD Student. Emma is a qualified social worker and Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Gloucestershire. She has a practice background in local authority social work, working predominantly with older people.  She has both researched and published on the topic of later life. Emma is also a PhD student at the University of Birmingham where she is researching new relationships in later life in residential and nursing homes.
