How to BEST Navigate a Herxheimer Reaction (Die-Off)
A Herxheimer reaction (aka die-off) is essentially when a new protocol makes you feel worse before you start to feel better.  This often gets confused with intolerance, which makes sense when gauging how a new protocol makes you feel. But to make sure you aren’t jumping ship on a protocol that may actually be working for you, it’s important to learn how to recognize the difference between die-off and intolerance.  Join me to learn how to best navigate Herxheimer symptoms and what you can do to manage them.    Featured Studies  https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32491752/#:~:text=It%20usually%20manifests%20as%20fever,and%20exacerbation%20of%20skin%20lesions.  https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23632012/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28078798/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21381407/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29508268/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29460487/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24891990/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32020750/  https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29493919/  https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31935866/  https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33380301/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31680558/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35094209/  https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29763052/#:~:text=Vitamin%20C%20is%20a%20water,intake%20of%20fruits%20and%20vegetables.  Related Resources Probiotic Side Effects & How to Fix Them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbHCR6esOuY  My articles: https://drruscio.com/blog/ My book: https://drruscio.com/getgutbook/  Courses, free guides, and more: https://drruscio.com/resources?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=drruscio.com_resources   Timestamps 00:00 Intro  02:37 Symptoms of die off 03:34 The prevalence of die off 05:32 How to distinguish die off from intolerance  08:16 The protocol  11:25 Other die off supports 14:46 Antimicrobial die off   Get the Latest Updates Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/DrRusciodc Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/drrusciodc/ Pinterest - https://www.pinterest.ca/drmichaelrusciodc DISCLAIMER: The information on this site is not intended or implied to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
