Sh**ged Married Annoyed

Chris & Rosie Ramsey

The only way Rosie and Chris Ramsey can have a conversation without being interrupted by a toddler or ending up staring at their phones is by doing a podcast. They’ll be chatting all about life, relationships, arguments, annoyances, parenting, growing up and everything in between. Each week they will answer questions from the public and a secret celebrity.

Our Editor's Take

Often, when people get married, they have to make some sacrifices in their careers. Whether it's to start a family or combine households, something usually has to give. But the hosts of the Sh**ged Married Annoyed podcast turned their marriage into their career.

Chris and Rosie Ramsey have known each other since they were teens in South Shields, England. That was way before podcasts were the sensation they are today. Their love wasn't at first sight. They kept bumping into each other until a spark did ignite on a night out on the town. In 2014 they married and started a family with sons Robin and Rafe. But some might say it was the birth of the Sh**ged Married Annoyed podcast in 2019 that changed the game for this couple.

Chris admits that he argues with Rosie more than anyone in the world. Rosie says she feels the same. They even had a fight about the jingle for the Sh**ged Married Annoyed podcast. And the result? A hilarious opener to one of the best comedy podcasts in the United Kingdom.

A married couple arguing might sound tedious to listen to. But with these two, it's an absolute delight. Their previous careers as actors, comedians, and hosts contribute to their charisma. But it's their effortless banter about their relationship, family, and life that makes the show. It's also what catapulted their careers.

Once the podcast gained over 25 million downloads, a book deal came. The pair did not stop there, and now even have a TV show on the BBC. There, they talk to a celebrity couple each week. But they don't let success get to them. They still show up to the podcast each week, ready to chat, bicker, fight, and make the listener laugh out loud. The Ramseys have also said they won't move from the Tyneside region to London. The couple doesn't want their kids to lose the family's northern England Geordie accents.
