Ep. 285: Natural Planning Model
This webinar recording gives you hands-on practice with David Allen's instinctual, five-stage thought process for naturally planning your projects. You'll learn by taking several projects through defining purpose and principles, envisioning the outcome, brainstorming, organizing, and identifying next actions. The silent working time for planning has been edited out, so you can simply pause and take as long as you want for each segment. For your reference, the model is detailed on pages 10-11 in the GTD Methodology Guides, available at the top of the Tools and Templates section of the GTD Connect Document Library. There were two other references that you may find useful. Early in the webinar, we talk about the first stage of the Natural Planning Model, the "why" of any project. We mentioned Simon Sinek's book, Start with WHY. Later in the webinar, we mentioned Structured Decision Making, which you can find information and books about in a web search.
