Our Editor's Take

The Primal Potential podcast is on a mission to help women improve their lives. Host Elizabeth Benton is an entrepreneur and the author of a bestselling book. Her life used to be very different. Despite an education in nutrition, Elizabeth was overweight and unhealthy. Added to this were financial difficulties and feelings of depression. She knew she needed to make a massive change in her life. So, Elizabeth adopted a new perspective and changed her approach to life. It's this process of self-improvement that she now teaches to millions of women.

Each weekly episode promises to help women change their mindset and find their own way. Elizabeth started the podcast in 2015 by sharing her experiences of food guilt and emotional eating. For anyone struggling with dieting, she provides tips on how to make positive changes. There are episodes about artificial sweeteners, dieting myths, and how to break habits.

From dieting to wellness, Elizabeth discusses any topic that will help women in their everyday lives. In one podcast episode, she reveals the two questions that have helped her marriage. Elizabeth encourages her listeners to ask the same questions themselves. The first question is, "What is the goal? And if an argument won't get you there, don't argue." The followup question is, "Is this the right time?" If she wants to give her husband feedback, is the right time when they're getting the kids ready for school? Elizabeth reveals that these two questions have also helped her in other areas of her life.

The Primal Potential podcast shares tips and ideas to help women in all areas of their lives. These include everything from finding success to healthy eating. Elizabeth encourages her community to stop procrastinating and to start making changes. She speaks with confidence and passion in her efforts to support her listeners. New episodes arrive weekdays.
