In this episode I talk to Managing Director and Innovation Lead at Accenture, Iliana Oris Valiente.
In her role, Iliana directs teams across design, data, and all emerging technology. Her current mission is to cultivate a future encompassing overall technological and societal trends, with a focus on the future of work, life, and human-centred approaches.
She encourages leaders to step away from the ‘Work From Home’ and ‘Digital Nomad’ titles, and welcome the reality of Global Citizenship.
Iliana has extensive experience advising Fortune 500 companies to leverage emerging technology and embrace cultural shifts, in order to scale and sustain business success. She also serves on several Boards of Directors, is a published author, and a frequent speaker at global conferences.
In this episode, we discuss Iliana’s moment of burnout and how she healed herself through travel, the term ‘global citizen’ and the implications of a global workforce going forward, and her Potted Plant theory that can help identify the types of workers and travellers that, in turn, will be able to help both employees and employers.
