Learn more about Traci below: Traci Ann Moore of Birmingham, Alabama, joins the show to bring awareness to how believers can overcome anxiety and depression. She shares how her personal journey through prayer and meditation helped birth a new purpose for her life while healing the depression and anxiety she faced. As a child, Traci was all about being creative. Whether it was sitting coloring or sketching, needlepoint, cross-stitch, or baking homemade cinnamon rolls, she was always making and selling something. As her creativity and creations remained a hobby, she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Montevallo. Having such a love and passion for all things creative, Traci needed something more, which led her to enroll in interior design school at Southern Institute School of Interior Design not long after finishing at Montevallo. Shortly after graduating from design school, Traci Ann Moore started the residential consulting and design company TAM Interiors. After over 20 years, her company has evolved into a full-service event and floral design business. To share her gift and story, she founded iCreate in the Fall of 2013. iCreate was developed as a program to provide a voice and outlet for those who needed the freedom of creative expression. Its goal was to provide a positive environment where youth were encouraged and applauded to be free to live and express themselves through creative arts. It quickly took on a life of its own and became so much more than she could have imagined it! It evolved to not only inspire the youth but adults as well. Over the years, iCreate has hosted many workshops, vision board sessions, paint parties, and team-building experiences. In 2020, iCreate rebranded, and the name was changed to iCreate IT. The change came to broaden its reach to help others evolve, inspire, and create their “IT” through the use and teaching of mindfulness and therapeutic art. Traci self-published her first set of mindful coloring books in the spring of 2021. Bold Botanicals, Simply Shapes, and Mindful Moments. Her second set of books was released later that same year as a holiday set. Unique Moments, Brilliant Moments, and Adorning Moments. The Process of Becoming with Marquita Moore :: Episode 11
Author and Inspirational Conversationalist, Marquita speaks candidly on her journey of becoming her most authentic self through Christ. She shares the importance of releasing the pain of your past and how we may freely walk the path towards healing.  Follow Marquita on Instagram here. www.howigrewtoday.com P.S. Pray the Same for Me More about Marquita: Marquita Moore is a Writer, an Author, and what she likes to call an Inspirational Conversationalist, whose work is inspired by her personal quest to live life awakened, authentic, and connected to Spirit.   Marquita spent over 10 years of her professional life working in the Entertainment Industry in Marketing and Brand Management. After years of feeling unfulfilled and ignoring the feeling that there was something deeper in life that she did not tap into every day, she began deliberately walking her path to healing, growing, and connecting with Spirit.  In 2011, she created How I Grew Today, a platform that she originally started as a way to hold herself accountable for her own need to be present and mindful in her daily life.  How I Grew Today has grown into a community and platform designed to encourage and inspire others to live connected to their hearts and to live life intentionally, awakened, and guided by love.    As a Writer, Marquita shares her personal path to living life as her most authentic, connected self and feels her daily Divine Journaling has become her guide, as she chronicles the lessons learned, and the many revelations that have inspired her to choose, every day, to walk the path of light, living life spiritually. “I share because I want to do my part to spread God's light, God's energy, and love, in the way I was put here to do it. And that is through my writing and through having conversations about the things that come with living a life by the light of life, where your Spiritual self leads the way.  Not to sound like a spiritual cliche, but being a spiritual being, having experiences that are human and making a decision to live in love, joy and peace.   Having conversations about healing and staying connected to Source, to the highest energy that we all have in us so that we can live life in this way.  This is part of my assignment, my mission. " Marquita is a graduate of Hampton University and is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. She and her son River currently reside in the New York/New Jersey area.
