K.Flay (28:00) is a Grammy-nominated American singer and songwriter. K.Flay got her start in music as a freshman at Stanford University where she studied psychology and sociology. She began producing music on her laptop and quickly caught the attention of RCA Records. K.Flay was only signed to RCA for a year before realizing her creative vision differed from her labels. She went on to release her debut album “Life As A Dog” independently in 2014. Since then, K.Flay has released multiple EPs and albums to critical acclaim and even put together a book of letters her fans had written to her while on tour. She also come out as queer and publicly dated another musician, Miya Folick, in 2021. In 2022, K.Flay spontaneously lost her hearing in her right ear and had to grapple with accepting her new reality. The anger, anxiety, and depression that came out of the experience culminated in K.Flay’s fifth studio album “Mono” (2023). Bbno$, aka Alexander Gumuchian, is a Canadian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his 2019 single, "Lalala", which peaked at number ten on the Canadian Hot 100, as well as his multiple collaborations with American rapper Yung Gravy. Alex swam competitively in high school with plans to pursue a professional career in swimming however a devastating back injury ended his pursuit. His newfound free time allowed Alex to dabble in music production with a group of friends. After a couple years of honing his skill, Alex began posting original raps on SoundCloud under the name “bbnomula” where he quickly gained a following. Alex’s big break came when Jackson Yee, a famous Chinese dancer, posted a video dancing to Alex’s song “Yoyo Tokyo.” Thanks to Yee, Alex gained popularity in China, where he sold out his first few "back-to-back" headlining tours. The following year, Alex began working with Yung Gravy and together released the EP “Baby Gravy.” Since 2017, two more “Baby Gravy” collaboration albums have been released. After discovering he had perfect pitch at the age of 3, Ethan found he could perfectly replicate complicated melodies on his toy piano just by ear. When Ethan was 10, he set the world record for being the youngest headlining performer to tour. He was also the youngest artist featured on the 2010 recording of “We Are The World” alongside others like Justin Bieber and Celine Dion. After a decade of performing around the world as a pianist, the pandemic halted his ability to tour. Stuck at home, Ethan found himself re-examining his sound and identity as an artist.
