Roderick Logan, DPTh, DAAETS - Episode 71
Welcome to the Inclusive Leadership In a virtual world weekly podcast. This week our featured inclusive leader is Dr. Roderick Logan. Roderick Logan is a man rowing his boat backward into the future. He believes mulling over past painful moments is not how one gets better, but rather the point is to reflect, reframe, and rewrite those self-inflicting, shortsighted narratives. Roderick is an academic scholar and has brought trauma-informed service to thousands throughout the United States and more than ten other countries. He is a Certified Trauma and Resiliency Life Coach, Senior Faculty at the Arizona Trauma Institute and the Trauma Institute International, and a Diplomate with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress.
Enjoy this session in which Dr. Roderick shares The REACHmodel ©, developed by him and his colleague Dr. Camea Peca, which takes a bottom-up / top-down approach to living a resilient life. This is not merely a theoretical idea, but rather a practical, pragmatic plan that can be implemented with positive results today. Whereas trauma robs a person of life’s rhythm, relationships, and readiness, this 5-step dance has proven to be effective for taking back mastery over one’s behaviors, emotions, and thoughts.
As always, we hope you will join us for our weekly session of Inclusive Leadership in a Virtual World every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific. You can register here.
