This week, we chat to actor, Emerald O’Hanrahan about the world of Audio Drama.
After leaving drama school in 2009, Emerald won the Carleton Hobbs Bursary and has since worked extensively with the BBC, featuring in many productions but is perhaps most well-known for playing Emma Grundy in The Archers.
As well as having a varied television career, Emerald has also worked for over a decade in Video Games – appearing in Alien: Isolation, Assassin’s Creed and the soon to be released Baldur’s Gate III.
In our chat, we find out how different the process is for working in audio drama, discuss if drama school prepares you for the industry, and find out what impact studying the Spiritual Psychology of Acting had on Emerald's life and career.
