In this first ever episode, I talk to Sandahl who is a military wife. She talks about the struggles she went through while her husband (who at the time was only her boyfriend) was deployed. She by no means had it easy while he was gone.  Unfortunately, because they were not married yet she didn’t get the support she needed with the military. Sandahl has started her own nonprofit for veterans called hair cut for vets.
