Tech troubles hit home when I faced challenges unlocking my old iPad Mini, which I wanted to use with the fantastic Allen & Heath Qu-SB digital mixer I got (01:49). Spoiler: persistence (or maybe luck?) won the day! Speaking of the Allen & Heath QU-SB, some of the bandmates came over, and we dove deep into its mesmerizing personalized monitoring capabilities (02:39). Every week I discover something new about this mixer; it's a gem! On the introspection side, I've been delving into the pages of 'Think & Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill (04:39), and as nature would have it, another hurricane warning to keep us on our toes (04:57). In this week's episode of Tebovision, we're diving deep into the recording process of my newest original song, 'Pretty Shannon.' Join me as I take you behind the scenes of the long but rewarding journey that is music production. Watch as I record my lead vocals in Ableton Live (02:23), oh and you'll get to meet my studio cats, who can be quite a handful during these sessions (05:53). You're in for a treat as we capture Ram Ko's stunning violin tracks (07:50), backup vocals, and piano sessions (09:37 and 09:55). It's these moments that give me a real sense of amazement and optimism for future recordings (10:26 and 11:37). I then proceed to clean up all the recorded tracks (13:13) and complete the final mix for 'Pretty Shannon' (14:26). The satisfaction of hearing the final product is an emotion that every songwriting musician lives for.
