We find ourselves moving in the right direction when we keep our eyes focused on Jesus, our gaze fixed on Him. I don’t want to pay too much attention to the peripheral. I don’t want to be drawn away to focus on specialty areas on the side. I want to keep my attention on Jesus.If I take my eyes off Him, I can’t follow where He is going. I am less in tune with Him. Less aware of what’s on His heart. When I keep my eyes fixed on Him, I stay connected to the simplicity and power of the Gospel. My priorities are the same as His priorities. COME ON LET’S GET FREE TOGETHER!Remember when you were younger and you believed that we could do and be anything? Then it was like something happened along the way. Or maybe something was said that caused you to lose sight of who you are.  My prayer is that we will begin to identify those areas that are keeping us back from being who God originally created us to be.

Your identity is NOT found in the mirror. (Unless it’s the mirror of God’s word)Your identity is not how you look. So today I had no plans on recording, I had other plans on top of my full schedule, but when I felt Holy Spirit prompt me I had to be obedient and do what He said to speak:)I hope you will be blessed by this message.Oh, I may have flipped the scripture but you know what I meant. We are going to have a great time together as we draw close to Jesus. Psalm 139:17-18 MSG says, Your thoughts—how rare, how beautiful!    God, I’ll never comprehend them!I couldn’t even begin to count them—The AMP version says, How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!How vast is the sum of them!18 If I could count them, they would outnumber the sand.When I awake, I am still with You.Isn't that amazing! Take your time and really think about that for a moment, and let me ask you how does that make you feel? I've realized the secret to coping with the pandemic and life, is less talking, less worrying, and more drinking.Drink of His presence. “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.”It is time to turn our attention back to God and learn to drink of His presence. Remember the scripture when Jesus was in the boat with the disciples and the storm came rushing in? Do you remember where Jesus was? He was in the boat, the scriptures say, "Jesus was calmly sleeping, resting on a cushion" Yes, you read that correct, while the storms were raging outside, with violent winds and waves crashing against the boat, Jesus was sleeping.Listen to the rest of the episode to hear what happened.
