Ricky Gilmour, also known as "Gilly" is currently a suspension tech for KYB and has worked with Eli Tomac since before his pro debut. He raced professionally in his homeland of Australia before coming to the US where he currently resides. In this episode, Gilly shares a lot of technical insight about suspension fundamentals, the importance of relationships between riders and teams, and some of the obstacles suspension technicians have to overcome in the heat of the moment. This is a fantastic episode for gear heads and riders that enjoy learning about technical aspects of Supercross and Motocross, as well as how to become a part of the professional paddock.

Austin Cantalini is the founder of Electro and Company (Electro & Co.) which is an electrical component company that specializes in providing electric conversion kits for various motorcycles ranging from the Razor pitbikes to full size YZ/YZF motorcycles. Austin was one of the first people in the world to receive his Stark Varg (Production # 36), and Josh was one of the first to race it in a professional AMA sanctioned race. They took a trip together to Spain to test the pre production Varg earlier in the year and between the two, have a lot of experience as well as technical insight regarding the technology and nuances of electric motorcycles. Josh was kind enough to let me throw a leg over his Stark Varg when we did a tire test at Hangtown the week before this podcast was recorded. This episode includes our proper shake down of what we like, and hope to see improve from the Stark Varg.

Brent Duffe raced for many years and has now been a race mechanic at a professional level for over 10 years. He's wrenched for several riders including Justin Brayton, Christian Craig, and currently with Haiden Deegan. Brent shares a bit of his experiences working at different levels of the sport, what he's learned and things that he's seen. He's a great friend and as always, we had a lot of fun recording this episode. Enjoy!

Tristan Lane is a close friend and a professional Supercross racer from Deland Florida. He's had a few break out rides over the last few years and had earned his national number 90 for the 2023 season. He rides the Silverback Racing KTM which is provided (and wrenched on) by Donald Davis. The two have been traveling across the country together for several years and have improved race results year after year. At the time of the podcast, Tristan had just found out he'd been racing the last half of the season with a broken foot after a misdiagnosis of an injury sustained at the Arlington Supercross. He has since had surgery to repair it and is currently recovering before he begins preparation for the 2024 Supercross season. As always, Tristan is a natural when it comes to conversing and we had a lot of fun catching up. Enjoy!

Josh is very talented engineer in the motorcycle industry, and a very talented rider on anything two wheels. This episode primarily focuses on Josh's recent trip to Spain where he was fortunate enough to tour the Stark factory and even got a chance to spend a day test riding the Varg. Josh shares his insight on his experience, as well as some detail in other projects he's currently a part of. From his 3D printing company (3DP Moto) to helping out with Motion Pro as a design engineer, as well as his technical services he provides Electro and Company, Josh stay very busy contributing to our industry. Bobby Kiniry is an Upstate New York Native and Legend. He is not only an outstanding racer (top 10 in the world in his time), but also an outstanding citizen and most importantly of all, an outstanding family man. Bobby retired from racing due to a string of traumatic injuries which nearly left him permanently compromised. Years later he is now a part of the elite tactical unit know as HRT or Hostage Rescue Team. His love for hand to hand combatives and unparalleled work ethic made for a very rare chemistry between he and I that led to a trip for me to New York to get some sparring time. This is a conversation from that day.

If you're familiar with SwapMoto Live, then you're familiar with Don Maeda's right hand man Michael Antonovich. Michael is on the elite few on the front-line at every Pro Supercross and Motocross event providing top tier boots on the ground content every week. He has a great eye for detail not only in the paddock but also on the track. Michael is also one of the most stand up people you could ever encounter at the races, and he took some time after the Southwick National to hang out and do what he does best, have some damn good conversation.

Jason Weigandt A.K.A. Weege is the modern day voice of Motocross. The busiest man in the motorcycle industry. He has provided professional commentary on nearly every discipline of motorcycle racing sometimes even in the same calendar year. For this episode, Jason cut out generous pocket of time at the Red Bud Pro Motocross event to sit down in the media tent (forgive the background noise) and have a chat to give some insight on how a fan of 2-wheels came to be one of the most recognized and sought after voices in 2 wheel television.

Episode 2! Over a year from the first episode (2020-2021 social distancing was a thing we had to be mindful between teams) Cameron McAdoo was coming into his own with his second year racing Supercross on the Pro Circuit Kawasaki. He had a little time to set aside while we were in Arlington for a 3 round stent of racing. Cameron opened the season with a 2nd, 1st, and a 3rd. This is a conversation from that time.

This was the maiden voyage! The very first episode when the idea had already been cooking for some time. Seth Rarick (former professional racer) at the time was training the 250 supercross riders at The Baker Factory for Aldon Baker. We catch up and share a lot of stories and experiences, both professional and personal. This episode took place the night before Daytona Supercross 2020 and was the last normal weekend for a very long time. The next week, our race schedule was cancelled and the lockdowns began. Episode 2 would not take place for over another year.
